yeah, see this? this right here? that is yet another wonderful example why hating brutalism is so fucked up, hells, even the name is fucked up! I mean, ok, yeah, I getcha, it was co-opted by a buncha assholes who wanted people to be miserable with their buildings, but really what it should be called is “Hey-look-what-we-can-do-now!-ism” ok? also, “Look-at-these-neat-geometric-forms-we-can-now-put-to-use-in-buildings!-ism”, and “Hey-we-can-live-in-spheres-now!-ism”, and just plain “Hey-look-what-we-can-do-now-this-is-PHUN!-ism”!
Not the architecture´s fault when an asshole regime decides that what it wants their buildings to say is “be miserable!” instead of “hey-look-what-we-can!”
